Context
This project was a deep dive into 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, rendering, and animation, refining my skills in procedural workflows, surface modeling, and cinematic rendering.
The Learning Curve: Mastering Blender in Two Months
Before Aether, I had limited experience with Blender. This project served as both an exploration and an intense learning journey into 3D techniques.
Surface Modeling – Transitioning from traditional CAD-based workflows to Blender’s polygonal modeling.
Shrinkwrap Modifier – Refining complex surfaces and panel gaps.
Procedural Texturing – Experimenting with node-based materials for realistic reflections and surface details.
Rigging & Animation – Creating realistic suspension movement, aerodynamics, and camera transitions.
Environment Setup – Crafting dynamic lighting and custom HDRIs for high-impact visuals.
